Take a walk on the property and search for the silent hunters of the night, Owls. Learn some basic facts, observe feathers and hopefully hear a wild owl. Bring a flashlight and wear sturdy walking shoes. Limited space available, Registration required.

Participants can choose from a variety of craft projects under the guidance of our skilled volunteers. Choose from “Winsome Woodland Critters,” a pine cone wreath, “Holiday Wall Hanging," a holiday centerpiece, “kissing balls,” and more. All three workshops are for ages 12 to adult, program fee of $10 per workshop per person. Masks are required for these indoor programs. Spaces are limited, call (215) 234-4528 to reserve your spot. During the winter food can be hard to find for animals, birds in particulars. We can help them by creating a Wildlife Tree. First take a walk and see what animal’s species we can find. Then we will learn how to make an edible ornament which the birds will love to eat. Finally take your ornaments home and make your own wildlife tree. Welcome winter like never before at Pottsgrove Manor’s new holiday program, an outdoor Frost Fair! Discover the world of an 18th century winter market with living history demonstrations and a chance to find a perfect gift inspired by the past. Play popular games from the 1700s that the whole family can enjoy. Smell the spices from gingerbread being prepared in the outdoor bake oven and see if there is any songs you know being sung in the tavern tent. Once you have strolled through the fair, journey into the museum to learn about the traditions of a colonial yuletide. Bring a true sense of history to your holiday season with the Frost Fair at Pottsgrove Manor! Weather permitting.
