Mr. Blankenburg was recognized on May 22, 2013 for the outstanding work he has done with children and families receiving cross-systems services from Children & Youth and Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities & Drug and Alcohol. Mr. Blankenburg has been with the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth since 1993. He began his Children & Youth career as a Caseworker providing direct services to abused and neglected children and their families. Currently Mr. Blankenburg serves as the Agency’s Team Decision Making Facilitator assisting families to make safe decisions in the least intrusive manner possible. Meetings involve birth families and community members, along with resource families, service providers and agency staff. All decisions ensure a network of support for the child and the adults who care for them. Congratulations Fred!
