[ARCHIVED] Apply for a 2021 Montco 2040 Implementation Grant by March 1, 2021!

Implementation Grant Program Masthead 2021 650x175

The deadline for applying for the 2021 cycle of the Montco 2040 Implementation Grant Program is through the end of the day on March 1, 2021. The 2021 cycle will be administered similarly to the previous cycle, with municipalities able to submit up to two applications.* Focus categories will remain the same as last year. One important update is that we are increasing our attention and acknowledgement toward projects that address issues of social equity and inclusion, either in their process or the communities they impact. The project application form now asks applicants to share how they address these issues as part of their project narrative. All of the focus categories are listed below:

  • Walk Montco and Bike Montco – Trails, Paths, Sidewalk Connections, and Bike Facilities
  • Support of Downtowns and Community Destinations
  • Adaptation and Resiliency

Other project types that meet the goals of the county comprehensive plan may also be eligible. Check out the 2021 cycle brochure for a complete list and suggestions for eligible projects. Visit www.montcopa.org/Montco2040GrantProgram for more information and complete guidelines for the 2021 cycle, along with application forms and instructions.

*Only one grant per municipality may be awarded, unless a municipality is also part of an awarded multimunicipal project.
