Planning Smarter_Lets Connect-Meet the Planning Commission

This event is designed for new elected and appointed municipal officials, but everyone is welcome! Come to one of two sessions to hear about how planning can help you work with your constituents to set and achieve goals and how good information can help you make the best decisions for your community. We’ll show you our resources, including model ordinances, Montco 2040, design guidebooks, and data reports. Our planning board members and staff will be on hand to answer any questions you have throughout the event. These informative sessions will be a fun opportunity to get to know each other better.


The event will take place on Wednesday, March 7, at the Montgomery County Planning Commission, 425 Swede Street,Norristown. Two identical sessions are available:

SESSION #1
3:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. (Registration check-in & refreshments)
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Presentation & resources)


SESSION #2
5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Registration check-in & refreshments)
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. (Presentation & resources)
