[ARCHIVED] Voter Participation Center Concerns

A private non-profit organization called the Voter Participation Center is currently mailing notices to some citizens in all 67 counties in the Commonwealth that implies they might not be registered to vote when in fact many already are. It appears the organization, based out of Washington, D.C., intends to mail additional letters in September. If you receive a letter from the Voter Participation Center and want to check your registration status before submitting the application provided in the mailing, you should call Montgomery County Voter Registration at 610-278-3280. Anyone wishing to be removed from the Voter Participation Center’s mailing list should contact them directly at 877-255-6750 or
