Kayla Hoffman, age 15, selected the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth as the recipient for her Confirmation project with her church. The Hoffman’s have been both foster parents and adoptive parents with the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth! Kayla and her family continue their sincere interest in helping children needing foster care and adoption services. Kayla collected diapers, wipes, baby formula, baby shampoo, baby bottles, soap, deodorant, tooth paste, tooth brushes and more so that the Office of Children & Youth is able to provide foster parents of infants and children with some essentials when accepting a foster child (sometimes without much notice) into their home. “Donations like Kayla’s are very helpful in keeping our supply closets stocked” remarked Foster Home Supervisor, Kathleen Sullivan. “Kayla is a very thoughtful and considerate young person who is committed to helping others.” Thank you Kayla!!!
