    Police across Montgomery County are ready to collect all unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications as part of Drug Take Back Day, organized by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office and the Police Chiefs Association of Montgomery County. The event at participating police departments across the county runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

    Visit Upper Schuylkill Valley Park and enjoy a moonlit tour of the resident animals. Visitors will learn about their evening habits and hopefully hear the sounds of our nocturnal and night -hunting friends. Light refreshments will be offered at the end of the tour.     Remember our beginner fly tying series from the beginning of 2021? Well we are back with Series 2! Join us to learn some more “complex” flies. You will create one new fly each class.     The Montgomery County Household Hazardous Waste Collection is free for residents to drop off household chemicals for proper disposal. Businesses and contractors will be turned away.
