Heartsaver CPR/AED Training
Heartsaver CPR/AED certification course is available for a variety of people and positions. AED training is always a part of CPR training. We will help you know how to confidently perform CPR and use an AED, whether in public or at your workplace, place of worship, or school. Our classes include CPR/AED for adults and children. Heartsaver CPR/AED is taught in English, however, interpreters are welcome to assist non-English speaking participants. Please note interpreters are not considered certified upon completion of the course.
We offer private, small group training (3-8 people) for staff at schools and places of worship, fitness professionals, etc.

What is CPR?
CPR: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Why is CPR Important?
CPR is important because it keeps blood flowing/pumping through the body until trained medical staff arrive on site. This improves the chance of survival.
What is an AED?
AED: Automated External Defibrillator
Why is an AED Important?
AED’s can greatly increase a cardiac arrest victim’s chances of survival. AED’s can check a victim’s heartbeat and make it possible to restore a normal heartbeat if the victim has a cardiac arrest.
What is a Heart Attack?
A heart attack is a “CIRCULATION” problem; it occurs when blood flow to the heart is blocked.
What is Cardiac Arrest?
Cardiac arrest is an “ELECTRICAL” problem; it occurs when the heart malfunctions and stops beating unexpectedly.
Frequently Asked Questions
When do I receive my CPR Certification card?
As of January 1, 2018, the American Heart Association began issuing e-cards instead of paper certification cards. Under most circumstances, your card is available to claim within one week after attending a class and emailed to your email address provided.
How long are CPR certification cards valid?
American Heart Association CPR/AED cards are good for 2 years.
How to claim or view my eCard?

How long is a Heartsaver CPR/AED course?
The Heartsaver CPR/AED course is about 2 hours long. It can run shorter if everyone is renewing their card or it is a small group.
How much money is a CPR/AED course?
The course is FREE but there is a $22 charge for your e-card.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring a pen or pencil, a notepad, and lunch (if needed).
