The Montgomery County Office of Senior Services (MCOSS) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring services for county residents age 60 and older. As the area agency on aging, OSS is part of a state and national network of agencies established to aid older adults by offering a wide range of services.

  • Adult Protective Services - Calls involving individuals 18-59 years of age who are incapacitated, lack an advocate, are at imminent risk and are possible victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment are also handled by the 24-hour hotline.

In-Home Care Services

Montgomery County staff provides the following services and care management to support consumers in meeting their individual needs to remain healthy and safe in their community. An assessment of consumer need may be required before providing service. To make a referral for in-home care, please call 610-278-3601 and ask to speak to Enrollment Specialist.

Level of Care Assessments

Assessments may be requested to determine whether or not a consumer is best served in a long-term care facility or in his or her own home with community-based services. To request an assessment, please call 610-278-3601 to speak with an Enrollment Specialist.
